"On first impression room was pleasant enough,but on closer inspection there were a number of things wrong with the room,firstly,no bin in room or bathroom,no hangers,the window wouldnt shut properly making the room very cold,there was no seat on the toilet and cobwebs in the bathroom.on my 2nd night i thought i would get some food at the bar i went down at 7pm knowing food was on till 8pm to be told the cook had gone home cos no one was eating ,the lady behind the bar did offer to go to the chippy but i had had that the night before i just wanted a snack"

"Facilities in the bedroom were good coffee machine, tv etc although expected a bigger bed in a premium room. Bathroom was a bit tired but towels were excellent. Wasn't expecting to pay to use the swimming pool. Nothing mentioned in the description of the hotel. "

"A pool table or table football would have been good and is easier to contain compared to say table tennis.Grange Hall could sleep 24 but we only found 16 bowls.At night, outside in the driveway was extremely dark and we would have benefited from more courtesy lighting, even if sensor activated. Collecting things from the car in the dark was traumatic for some. I recommend some discrete lights in the grass. One person inadvertently reversed onto the grass because they couldn't see the border.My daughter and niece thought there could be improved lighting around the hot tub but I questioned why they went in there in the middle of the night anyway "

"We stayed for 4 nights the location was perfect. Rooms are a little tired looking, carpets didn't feel clean under your feet. When we arrived I was unsure if the beds were fresh as the blankets we just pulled up over the bed and pillows not tucked in like hotels beds are. On inspection bed was clean. Maybe a little more TLC is required. Also soap in shower was that watered down it was ridiculous. But Staff were absolutely lovely nad location was great. "

"The flat/annexe was extremely clean and the host was very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Extremely peaceful and relaxing, if you enjoy walking it is also the place for you. Highly recommended."
