Top Rural Life Museum Hotel Reviews
Market House
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great time here. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic. It’s on the high street so you couldn’t be closer to the town - I could see the Abbey and Tor from my window. It doesn’t really have parking but there is a council run car park directly opposite and we didn’t struggle to find a space on it."
8 Owls B&B
8/10 Good
"Likes= Central to everything...good breakfast at Crown Hotel (part of b&b arrangement)...lovely big bed...very pleasant n clean room overlooking eclectic high street.......,...........Mentions = X2 steps in bathroom, we kept tripping on ( suggest edge of step to toilet be of a different colour/material to floor of toilet, so more visible), also ceiling to toilet very low hitting head twice ( again suggest a spongy or softer material be attached , so impact not as hard if forget to duck)...if done would definitely stay again"
St Anne's B&B
10/10 Excellent
"This was the most lovely Bnb! So well-suited in energy to being in Glastonbury. My room, Brigid, had a view over the hills, which was wonderful at the end of the day with the setting sun. Sue and George made a delicious breakfast each morning - felt very spoiled. The location was perfect - easy walking to The Chalice Well and Glastonbury Tor. The High Street was close by for shopping and visiting Glastonbury Abbey. And, I so enjoyed the sheep that lived next door! I highly recommend staying here - I certainly will book here again when I travel next to England."
George & Pilgrims Hotel
8/10 Good
"Loved the location and the ambience. The staff very helpful and accommodating."
Bear Inn, Somerset by Marston's Inns
8/10 Good
"Great location and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was ok bathroom needs modernisation and attention to detail such as more loo rolls and hand soap as not enough for the duration of our stay. Would stay again if the price doesn’t increase as I think it’s high end for what you get."

3 bedroom accommodation in Glastonbury
10/10 Excellent
"This is a truely lovely terraced property below the Tor hill and just above the main high street in Glastonbury. It is is well appointed, the decor suits the town, and it had everything we needed including table linens and some tasty local cheddar cheese. The narrow garden is also lovely, and if you are lucky you will find fresh strawberries. Our dogs liked the option to be safely outback or inside on the cool stone floor slabs by the stairs. The bunk beds are a bit small for adults and the top floor room would be hard to reach for those with mobility issues.Overall, super place if you are happy with a single ground floor bathroom. We may well return."
Gorgeous Listed Central 5* Cottage Abbey Views
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful few days at this beautiful cottage. Everything was as described - although we thought it was even more gorgeous! Absolutely loved the private outside space at the rear of the property, perfect for a game of cards and a glass or two of wine. The location was amazing, right off the main town centre.Highly recommend this quality property- whatever time of year you choose.Thank you, Toni xxx"
