"This was a nice enough property. There was an issue with the plumbing though. The water temperature in the shower would suddenly change to very cold then go immediately to scalding hot then regulate to the original temp then start the cycle all over again. We did get a letter stuck to our door saying they were having some work done on our final day between 10am-8pm with recommendations to shower before 10am otherwise if you were scalded, that was not their fault. A whole day without the use of a shower seems like a big enough inconvenience that there would be some sort of plan but all we got was a a perfunctory “sorry ‘bout that” "

"We had a wonderful time at Blue Heron House! The home is super clean and thoughtfully stocked with anything we needed. Communication with the host leading up to our stay was super easy and quick. We saw manatees and even a dolphin right from the dock. We used the fishing gear to catch several species of fish from the dock and went kayaking as well. If we are ever headed back to the Tampa area, this will be our next stay!"

"Very beautiful home and well maintained. Check in was easy and correspondence with the host was good. Had a couple initial issues but each was handled well. The pool and hot tub offer great privacy."

"We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was spacious and in the perfect location not far from the beach. It was ideal for our large group with plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable.There were also fantastic restaurants nearby and Sunset Restaurant was a standout recommendation, we loved it. One of the biggest highlights for us was how accommodating the home was for families. It included several infant friendly amenities like a crib and high chair which made traveling with our 5 month old so much easier.Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!"

"The cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. We sent photos to the property owner about the cleanliness with photos (including poop on the side of the toilet seat). We received an apology but no offer to clean or compensation. The sheets were stained and had hair in them so we had to wash them before we could sleep in them. The both trash cans were full with bags sitting beside them. If it was cleaner it would have been a great place to stay"
