SOHO Square Sharm El Sheikh

Very friendly staff and great hotel. Great to be right on the beach front.

We stayed at Pyramisa for a week. We had two children along with our 80 year old grandmother. Upon arrival we were placed in a room at the end of the hotel near the beach. However, there were no lifts and 1000’s of stairs. It took us 15 minutes to get to reception/pool area. We had to change rooms which took hours and hours. Even then, the rooms were not so close to the reception. They also had to downgrade the room to get us closer to reception and would not refund us the difference between the family room we booked and the standard room we ended up staying in. The pool area is lovely and the beach as well. However the hotel is just very inconvenient with the lift situation. Toilets by the pool are absolutely filthy and the odour is awful. The food was ok, but was always cold. Salad bar is nice and drinks are too: Staff were also ok, quick to tend to your needs. Overall, I wouldn’t visit again. It definitely isn’t a 5 star but was ok.

Beautiful place, very tasty food, clean, safe, very helpful and friendly staff, convenient to many points of interest. Especially professionals such as Farrukh (reception), Islam Ramadan, Mena Nasser and Ezzat Tarek-waiters, Mohammed room attendant, Anastasia - entertainment made our vacation very special. Thank you very much. Highly recommend!
