"This was such a pleasant surprise. So close to the train station and it felt like being at a resort. We are invited to enjoy the public areas with our special Japanese wear that is given to the guests in our rooms. The staff is amazing, the housekeeping workers are like machines, fully focused, and they work very fast and efficient, with such deep cleaning. They are amazing. The breakfast was nice but the workers there was also so amazing. The only bad thing was there was not enough washers and dryers. And it takes 2 hours to wash a load and the clothes are still very wet after 2 hours. But I will definitely be back at this hotel only when visiting Kyoto. 5 stars definitely. And I am an honest star giver. "

"First time visiting Kyoto and I was impressed by the lobby of this hotel. It gives modern hip vibes. It was also very walkable to the train and bus station so very easy for commute. The room was clean and I particularly liked the availability of bathroom amenities. "

"Wonderful stay with exceptionally thoughtful staff. Although the vegetarian breakfast options were limited on my first day, the team noticed and went above and beyond, each day the breakfast improved with more choices, and they even added a sign inviting vegan guests to inform the staff. Such a considerate touch. Great amenities like face masks and hair bands as well. I loved my stay and will absolutely return when I’m back in Kyoto."
