    The Space:

    We are excited to welcome you to Shales | The Heim, a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhouse located in the Salford edge of Manchester City Centre. The property features stunning canal-side views, large Crittall windows that flood each floor with natural light & private outdoor spaces across multiple levels. This townhouse sleeps up to six guests.



    Kitchen & dining area

    The open-plan kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. We offer a fridge freezer, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine, kettle, and toaster. We also offer complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, salt and pepper - as well as washing up liquid, a dishwasher tablet, a washing machine capsule, a sponge, a dish cloth, and two bin liners. There is a six-seater dining table, perfect for hosting a dinner party or enjoying a meal together with family and friends. The kitchen island doubles up as a breakfast bar with two stools, and also serves as an excellent workspace for those travelling on business.



    Bedrooms

    There are three bedrooms spread across the upper floors. Two rooms feature king-size beds and one holds a double bed, all fitted with blackout curtains, full-length mirrors, and ample wardrobe storage. On the top floor, the master bedroom includes a desk that doubles as a dedicated workspace for those travelling on business.



    Bathrooms

    There are two full bathrooms and a downstairs toilet across the property. One ensuite features a shower over a bath, and the other offers a walk-in shower. We provide bath towels and hand towels, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.



    Living area

    The living area features a smart TV with sound system and access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. A large corner sofa and warm natural light make this an inviting space to settle into after a day out exploring Castlefield or Spinningfields. Portable fans and heating ensure comfort through every season.



    Outdoor living

    Private outdoor spaces connect the home to its canal-side setting. The ground-floor terrace faces the canal - ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. Upper levels offer a balcony and additional terrace with outdoor furniture, extending the home's open, airy character through the warmer months and beyond.



    Location & parking

    Set within a canal-side development on the Salford edge of Manchester City Centre, the townhouse is surrounded by open green spaces and waterfront paths. Independent bars, restaurants, and cafés are a short stroll away, with Spinningfields and Salford Central Station both within easy reach. The area blends city energy with a relaxed, village-like atmosphere. A free, secure, gated parking space is available beneath the property, accessible from both the car park and the front door.



    Please note: as this property is located within a city centre development, there is potential for noise from outside and neighbouring properties.



    Essentials & safety

    The home includes Wi-Fi, heating, a dedicated workspace, washer, and iron. For peace of mind, the property is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Self check-in via smart lock ensures a smooth, private arrival.



    Guest Access:

    Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions including any access codes, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.



    In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £50.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in, or for stays of 28+ days or more). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.



    Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold or damage waiver, are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

    Within the property, the floors can only be accessed by stairs. There is no lift to the upper floors of the property. Please keep this in mind if you have any additional accessibility needs.
