"When we arrived the door to our room was broken -- it would not open -- so they gave us another room. That room had no hot water, so they gave us another room. The staff was excellent, and the hotel is lovely. The location is very good."

"We stayed at Brunel's Boathouse while attending a wedding across the River in Saltash. The apartment is perfect for short stays - really well laid out, equipped with just the right amount of everything for two people. It was spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfy and it has a decent shower.We loved sitting on the sofa looking out across the water on the Friday evening - the views are lovely. Communication ahead of our stay was excellent - Elaine got in touch with all the relevant info and was on hand to answer questions. The owners also popped out on arrival to say hello and give us tips on how best to park.All in all we had a lovely stay and would wholeheartedly recommend the boathouse to others looking for a short stay in the area."

"The host went to a lot of trouble to provide breakfast, returning after we had checked in with fresh bread and cookies as there were none there. Cereal, milk, spread, jam and marmalade were there already. It was immaculately clean. We were asked to let them know 30 mins before arrival and they were waiting for us. Check out was simple leaving the keys in the post box. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I the area."

"We chose to stay at the Brunel Inn whilst attending a festival nearby. It was the perfect choice! The staff were fantastic and the owners were so lovely! Would definitely stay here again, way better than camping"

"We had a wonderful stay in Chestnut Cottage. The owners have thought of everything, there wasn’t anything we were without and they even provided for our dog who really made herself at home. The cottage was even better than the photos and is extremely dog friendly.We used it as a base to explore Cornwall and most places we wanted to visit was within an hours drive so perfect for us. It was lovely to come back to the cottage and get into the hot tub after exploring the area and walking parts of the SW Coastal path."
