"This is a beautiful home to spend time getting away and enjoying the peace and quiet . There is a lot to enjoy is this spotlessly clean home including the decks and watching the magnificent sunsets. There are a lot of small towns to visit and they have their own special charm. The host is amazing…. a phone call away with a question or concern. My friends and I loved our experience."

"This property provided a wonderful stay for our family. We loved the amenities, especially the pool and the easy lake access—no endless flights of steps to navigate! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the front porch became the perfect gathering spot when it rained.The location was ideal, with everything we wanted to do just a short drive away.Our only minor criticism was that the beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Otherwise, everything was excellent.The hosts were incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Thank you, Jill, for your hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property to others."

"The Green Duck is a delightful cottage with everything we could want for a getaway, and we highly recommend it!The house is cheerful and clean. It has A/C window units, but we mostly just opened the windows and set up some fans, and got a wonderful lake breeze to keep it comfortable.The location is perfect! Right above the water, very private compared to most waterfront properties, and yet close to shopping, some of our favorite wineries, and some really good restaurants. The hot tub is amazing and once you get it up to temperature it's pretty easy to keep it there for successive uses. Go for a quick dip with your morning coffee and fantastic views of the lake!Jonny is a gracious host, provides just about everything you might need, and is very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Green Duck again!"

"This house suited our needs well for a gathering of my siblings, their spouses, and a couple members of the next generation. The houses location is secluded with a view of the lake about 1/4 mile away. The vehicle traffic on the road and in the area is relatively light so getting out for exercise walks or strolls was easy to do. Useful information about the house to consider is that the bath and two bedrooms upstairs are up quite steep stairs - given our ages (most in our 70‘s), this could have been an issue, but we were okay with it."

Cottage Retreat in the Heart of the Finger Lakes

"Very pleased wilth our short stay at this cottage. We were only there for two nights, visiting family nearby. Cottage was well equipped, would have been great to spend a week there and enjoy the comfort more. Hosts were very accomodating and very resonsive when I had a question. Would not hesitate to stay again if we were ever in the area. Cottage was easy to find, had easy access to the property and availablity of 110V outside power I used to charge my EV Car. The kitchen was neat and well appointed, although all we had there was coffee, which the host left for us. All in all it was very comfortable and more than met out expectations."
