"Marcos and Karin are phenomenal hosts. They go out of their way to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. I was traveling alone but when they saw I was up to socialize, we had many great evenings chatting over wine. The property is better than the photos, it is beautiful and quiet and overlooks amazing scenery. They are thoughtful in their details and clearly care about the property and experience. "The outside space is very good with heated pool and barbecue area which looks over the small village. We did most of our cooking on the barbecue as the kitchen dose not have an oven, electric kettle or dishwasher and only has 6 of each crockery wise, so if you are looking for luxury this is not the place. "Property was very clean, set in a gated complex which was well maintained. The pool was nice, chilly in February but ok once you were in. No road noise, just the sound of waves. The rear of the property was a lovely suntrap. We cooked in the property, I think you would need to drive to Maspalomos to find a selection of restaurants. Check in was easy and the staff at Villa Gran Canaria were friendly and quickly answered any questions we had."

"The property is situated in a very 'quiet' spot and is ideal for those wanting to be on their own. However, the local 'hen(s)' and local village (which you cannot see below) dogs prefer the not too quiet lifestyle and this can become annoying sometimes, especially at night! Otherwise, San Bartolome and Saint Lucia provide more than adequate attractions and restaurants. The views are spectacular. "

"Im Großen und Ganzen könnte man 5 Sterne vergeben. Wie so oft kommt es aber auch auf die Kleinigkeiten an. Daher gibt es nur 4 Sterne. Im kleineren der beiden Bäder gab es weder Haken noch eine Stange zum aufhängen bzw. trocknen der Handtücher. Hier liess sich auch die Türe nicht ins Schloss ziehen, entweder war die Türe oder der Rahmen verzogen. Die Toilettenbürste war ebenfalls nicht sonderlich sauber. Ansonsten war alles sehr sauber und in Ordnung. Wir würden wieder dort Urlaub machen."

"This villa is almost a land-based yacht in its interior design and furnishing, in keeping with it's waterfront location. Very light and airy with it's patio windows at ground level and three balconies on the first-floor giving wonderful views to the marina, and also to the shared swimming pool. "Our second time of staying here. We drive from airport and cycle for 6 days. Eat at home or in restaurants in san Bartolomé. Villa is perfect. All amenities work. Sun on the terrace. Great cycling and routes from gc 60. Perfect"

"This property for a 3 star is exceptional value for money, beautiful grounds. I would suggest a car if your stopping here couple of restaurants near small pizza bar love and hate great. I think shuttles are available. Parking on site couple of euros per day, safe a euro a day. Pool sude food and bar good value not over priced. Plenty of beds, massive pool. All in all great value property."

"After staying here a few years ago, i got a good deal for a week self catering for 2 rooms and this was perfect. Rooms were big and slightly modernised, in the peak summer you would prob struggle with only the ceiling fan, but it was fine in April. Only slight disappointment was no late check out despite checking numerous times."
