"The view and access to the beach was better than expected. Usually the view and proximity to the ocean is never as good as it looks in pictures but this location is about 20 feet from the sand. I had heard that parking was going to be a problem but we were able to park our vehicle in the parking lot next to the Seabird Hotel and never had to move it the 3 days we were there. It was clean and had cooking utensils to use in the kitchen. Shower had good pressure and was hot enough to take...

"My first time back in San Clemente in 26 years. A lot has changed but the people are still as friendly can be. I enjoyed my stay which was a perfect base for my time there. For my time there, this was the place to be."

"On a very hot, humid day in September I walked into this air conditioned room with the slight scent of cleaning product. A large bed with a crisp white coverlet with fluffy pillows met me as I put my luggage on the leather luggage holder. The living room had a nice long couch, comfy chair, lamp and a coffee table. There was also a kitchen area with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, and two burner stove. There were pans and utensils for cooking, as well as a full set of dishes and silverware. A little basket under the microwave by the coffee pot filled with, coffee, tea and condiments. The bathroom is a good size stocked with towels hanging and more under the sink. The shower head was great, no bath tub. The check in was easy, as I arrived during a shift change and my check-in was seamless. I asked for a room near the parking lot as I had a lot to bring in. She quickly accommodated that request. My room rate through Expedia does not include the parking fee of $25 a night, the Inn charges. In bold letters, in writing it was given to me at check in, so I would not be surprised. I had a very relaxing 3 days."

We’ve stayed in two different rooms and they are really quirky cool. The showers are awesome and the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean."

"It did it's job. It was a simple one floor level hotel we stayed one night in. We wanted a place to sleep and be near food. It also was an easy drive the next day to coffee and the pier after checkout. Staff was very friendly and room was cute and homey. We would stay here again. Price was a little higher than we would expect for this type of hotel, BUT given it's location I can understand the price point."
