"I was a single traveller. The room i was given was large, with a double bed, and ensuite bathroom. For the price i paid, i found it was good value for money - everything i needed was there. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room had wifi access and a tv. I let the host know roughly what time i would be arriving, and he was there, waiting to greet me. He was very polite, and explained how the shower worked. Apart from being woken a couple of times, due to some noise ( which...

"The property was well located across from the Ramblas and down the street from the most beautiful park. The rooftop pool and sunning area gave a wonderful view of the surrounding area and mountains and water.
All the staff was personable and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel."
"Great stay. Room was fantastic, with beautiful wood ceiling providing historic charm. Location was perfect, steps from old town close to shops and restaurants and sights. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular at the Vinoteca where we had lovely local wines and the doorman who provided best food recommendations. Highly recommend."
"My wife and I spent two nights here in May. We arrived early, and after a short wait were given 2 electronic keys to room 41. We were also given breakfast times and the wi-fi code which worked well in the room.
We were given a room adjacent to the swimming pool, which was quiet as there were few guests staying at the hotel.
The room would have been difficult for those with mobility issues as there were no lifts to this floor of the hotel.
The room was well-presented and had adequate storage and sufficient sockets for charging mobiles etc. Having read about bed bug issues we gave the bed a thorough inspection and found no evidence of bugs.
A ceiling fan operated silently and provided enough air for us as the weather was not particularly hot.
The TV had English language news channels and with a bit of effort, it was possible to access programs on non-english channels into english by using the remote control.
The bathroom had a bath with overhead shower attachment, vanity basin and toilet. It also had a good shelf for personal items. Small soaps and a wall-mounted shower gel dispenser were available, along with decent towels. The water had to run for a short while to get hot, but remained hot and plentiful once it came through.
Breakfast was included. Hot items included fried eggs (omelets were available on request), bacon, and churros. One day we also had hot-dog sausages, the other baked beans. There was a small selection of cold cuts, cheese, pastries, cereals, yoghurts."
"We got the all inclusive package and the staff was consummating to my friend that is gluten free. The staff is not all bilingual if you do not speak any Spanish. The hotel was nice. There is no AC in the summer just heat. The heated pool was not warm. Pools were fairly dirty. We loved the location and the meals. Breakfast ends a little early but overall it was very convenient and well worth the money"
"Our room was beautiful, well lit and nicely appointed. We appreciated the small round table with two chairs (so often there’s only one) and individually controlled lights on each side of the bed. The open air (so to speak) closet is well conceived. Two (overhead locker sized) roller board suitcases, when opened, fit perfectly side by side on the low shelf. Drawers below provide ample space for those who wish to unpack. And, the space below that is perfect for shoes. We also appreciated “quiet” HVAC.
The roof deck lounge is quite nice. Pool water could use some heat and the lounges don’t have much of an upright position option. But, throw pillows from nearby sofas work to make the lounges more comfortable for reading. The view from the deck is lovely!
We did not opt for breakfast, as we chose to explore cafes. But, the morning spread looked delicious as we walked by.
The hotel location is perfect for all sorts of activities…walking, catching a bus, taking a taxi or meeting a guide.
All-in-all, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
"Based in a fabulous converted old house with an inner courtyard based in the centre of La Laguna within four minutes walk of the cathedral.
We had originally booked Manila suite but, on reading reviews about noise (although apparently it has now been double glazed) and speaking with the property, we decided to upgrade to the Amaro Pargo suite, which was lovely and spacious and at the back of the property, with a large balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and beautiful glazed balcony overlooking the garden. Huge comfortable
bed and separate dressing /wardrobe area as well as a separate room with a sofa bed. Very good price and lots of space.
As the property is in the centre, it is difficult to find parking on the streets but we used the car park recommended by the property where we were charged only €7.50 for overnight parking.
I personally would avoid the rooms at the front of the property (particularly room 1, which is right next door to the front door) as it is on a busy road and indeed roadworks were going on when we were there. Internet was a bit patchy.
Lots of great restaurants in walking distance and a Spar next door to the cathedral for necessities.
Would definitely come back here if we returned to La Laguna, which is great for accessing the Anaga National Park."
