"Views from the balcony of our 4th floor room where breath taking! When we were not enjoying the many pools, we spent a lot of time reading and enjoying drinks with views of Arenal volcano. At arrival we were greeted by Fabian who offered us a welcome beverage as well as a cool towel to refresh ourselves as he explained the hotel and property. Great customer service continued with Sebastian who helped us with our luggage and informed us of all the features in the room. The room has a slot near the door so when you come in the room and insert your key card all the lights and air-conditioning activate. When you leave, they automatically turn off for you to quickly and conveniently help conserve energy. The balcony has chairs and a table along with a huge floor to ceiling sliding glass door that also has a screen door. Reservations at the Lava Restaurant will take you to the 5th floor where you can enjoy great food and service in an intimate setting along with a fantastic view of Arenal. The Emperador is on the main floor and hosts an outstanding breakfast buffet with some daily changes and at night high-class dinner. Breakfast included a large variety of options from omelets made to order, build your own yogurt parfait, fruits, eggs, cheese and meats. Dinner here is incredible! I had cream of corn soup for the app, the special blackened seabass stole the show for dinner and chocolate temptation desert. 5-star experience all around. "The room was spacious. Great bathroom. Refrigerator. And we loved the grounds, hot tubs, pool, pavilion for dining and seeing the animals, birds, frogs. Everyone was so friendly. "

"This is what you call a pleasant surprise - the hotel was better than what I imagined based on the pictures. The decor of the hotel has been tastefully created everywhere - in the lobby, in the rooms… Each room is a separate cottage - with direct view of the Arenal volcano. Really enjoyed our stay. "

"The hotel is located in the middle distance betwwen the town and the natioal park. The ground and thermal pools are wonderful. Front desk and restaurant staffs are the best."
