"My room was not properly cleaned. It was mold under the sink in the bathroom and that’s where they put our “fresh towels” ( glad we brought our own). There was no microwave. We were on the sixth floor. Had to keep going down to the lobby just to warm up our food. It was dust around the beds and on the floor you can tell it was not properly swept and mopped. It was stains in the tub. I expected so much more from a Marriott hotel. I never stayed in one but always wanted to. I will not be returning, especially to this one."

"New ownership took ocer and the remodeled rooms and hotel are beautifully done. Excellent service from beginning to end. The staff was also very friendly and helpfull. Porsha was amazong! Free laundry and coffee are amazing! The location for me was very convenient. There are also alpt.of food optioms near by if yoi choose not to cook beautiful effecint kitchen within your rooms. I loved it so much i made another reservation to extend my stay while I'm staying in Jacksonville. "

"I always enjoy staying in the Butler Blvd/Highway 202 area when visiting for the annual TPC Sawgrass Golf Tournament. I've stayed at several properties here over the years, and they've all been excellent. This location is particularly convenient, with easy access to US 1, the A1A and Ponte Vedra Beach, as well as the Jacksonville Beaches. While the hotel is showing its age in some areas, it still exceeded my expectations. It's clear that some renovations have been made, and while it's not brand new, you won't hear any complaints from me. The property was clean, spacious, and I always felt safe during my stay. One minor detail I would point out is the USB ports and other connections built into the nightstands under the lamps. They were black and blended in with the furniture, so I didn't notice them until later in my stay. If they had been a lighter color or better highlighted, I could have taken full advantage of charging all my devices. That said, it was a small oversight on my part, and the effort to include them is appreciated. Overall, this hotel helped make my trip even more enjoyable, and I'd definitely consider returning for future visits!"

"If you want a place to sleep and take a shower, this place is for you. It was clean. Definitely a NO amenities 'suite'. There was a kitchen set up, full-size fridge, 2 burner cooktop and microwave. There was NO coffee maker, NOTHING else provided. I was told there was coffee in the lobby but I never saw it. No cooking or eating utensils. No ice maker or trays in the freezer. NO ice machine on the premises, which I thankfully found out before my arrival so I purchased a bag at a convenience store. There was NO hair dryer. I stayed 5 nights and got 2 towels, was told I could get more for a fee. WTH?? I was driving my own vehicle so thankfully was able to bring a coffee maker and the eating and cooking utensils from my home, knowing I was going to be working late and would be tired from the day was why I picked a 'suite' where I could cook food I had brought. What about people who are flying in and only discover the lack of amenities AFTER arrival? I was surprised not to see any comments regarding the lack of these things in the previous reviews. What is wrong with you people? I try to trust reviews about where to stay and I would definitely have picked another hotel had I known I was going to have to provide everything myself. As I said, if you just need a place to sleep, it's OK. "
