"It was an absolutely incredible stay, so much that we didn't want to leave! Everything was superb, from the transfer via private boat to the warm welcome, from the wonderful rooms to the delicious food served at the Villa's restaurant. "We loved this hotel. The facility is beautifully restored and the rooms are spacious, graciously appointed and have modern baths. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Sylvia gave us a wonderful tour of the entire palace and provided historically accurate details around the town and the palace. Christina was particularly helpful as we had a medical emergency and she went above and beyond to help us. Overall I would highly recommend stopping here on your trip through Tuscany and Umbria. "

"Our hosts, Fabrizio and Anna, were terrific! After she showed us around, she brought us a cheese, meat, fruit, beer, and water snack! Very hospitable even with our language deficiency! "We had a great stay in one of the apartments. The atmosphere felt genuine and the personnel was very friendly. Breakfast (Italian style) was served at the premises, for lunch/dinner a car is needed to reach most restaurants in the area. Enjoyed a wine tasting with some of their self-produced wines. All in all, good value for money and a very pleasant stay. The nice pool area was an extra plus"

"The property advertised two bedrooms, I wasn't expecting the bedroom to be with the kitchen, so I was disappointed with that. This may have been an oversight with me, but I didn't realize I needed to bring my own linens - luckily there were some available to purchase for use. Otherwise it was good, pool was great, location near lake was awesome, the events they had were fun."
