"This property suited our adult group of six well. The house was clean upon arrival with everything in good working order with the exception of the outside lights over the entry ramp. The bulbs must have been burned out. We contacted the host about that but they were not repaired/replaced while we were there. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well equipped a kitchen and hanging on the super comfortable and large clean sofa unit. We also spent time on the deck overlooking the water. We utilized the dock for our motorboat, but not for swimming due to the low lake level and weed growth. That was expected because we communicated with the owner in advance of our trip. Anyone who considers staying in the house in late August should be aware of potential for low water levels. We used kayaks from the house which were in good shape other than needing some dusting off. The paddles and life jackets were pretty new and nice. The bikes are not in very good shape but do work. Fortunately, we brought our own bikes. It is really nice to have bikes because the house is very close to town. The neighbors were quiet and we felt a good sense of privacy. The beds are quite comfortable but top bunks are not easily accessible for the average adult. We used a small step ladder in one bunk room. Charles was helpful and communicative in advance. We would reserve this property again."
