A good mix of nice bars/beach clubs but a lot of youngsters. As we were in out late 30s early 40s we spent a few of our 4 nights in the old town which seemed a little more suitable.

We walked to Hi Ibiza late at night and the path was not lit for about a block until you reach Hard Rock. Seemed a little unsafe because it was so dark. We didn't have any issues and everyone seemed friendly outside the hotel
