"our room was very comfortable. the bed were excellent. i liked the carpeted hallways as they were easier to walk on and quiet. the stair cases had very shallow steps which made it easier to go up and down for us older folks. "

"This was a bestie birthday road trip. Solvang was our home for three nights and we ventured out during the day elsewhere. The fridge wasn’t plugged in when we arrive but didn’t take long to get cold. The office staff was very friendly. Hot tub was too hot, but still relaxing. Danishes for breakfast were very fresh. Coffee was a bit too strong for me. A very quiet hotel. I left something of much sentimental value, called as I was on my way home. They went and retrieved it and mailed it to me. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We especially liked the quiet and simple breakfasts as well as the pool/hot tub/outdoor game area. It was a fun place to relax and unwind after lots of driving and visiting, and the staff was very helpful."

"Bed and pillows were great. Everything was convient from the parking to the pool. The shower pressure wasn't very good and the TV had a lot static and didn't work that well, but overall I would definitely come back."

"First time visiting and wasnt sure what to expect. I had a medical situatuion after checking in and ended up having to call down to the front desk. They were attentive and understanding of my situation and quickly helped me resolve what was happening. Great staff, thank you! Our room was very nice, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Later in the evening we dined at their steakhouse restaurant wow!! Amazing food and exquisite service. Helpful staff everywhere on property, starting with the friendly folks in the parking garage and into the whole resort. Will definitely return. "

"Have been staying at the old side of the Santa Maria Inn a few times now. We love the nostalgic feel from back in the day. Very well preserved. Clean vintage rooms. We had asked for a room with a view of their beautiful garden and were placed in one that didn’t really accommodate that. But upon request we were very politely upgraded to one of their executive suites. That made our experience so much better. We appreciate the staff going above and beyond to meet our needs and requests. As always be polite to the staff and they will reciprocate back. "
