"Nice hotel with nice walking views, toasted s’mores at nice by there fire pits they have. Not many around so may not be able to make s’mores at night. They say they have beach access but it’s a far walk and the beach is not one where kids can play in."

"The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated since the new renovation. The facility location on the Bluff was excellent. The complementary breakfast was outstanding with great selection. The only negative was the amount of seagull waste in the parking lot. You have to be careful where you step and always wear flip-flops or shoes. The facility has an excellent view of the coastline of Pismo Beach. The room staff and the kitchen staff were excellent and always greeted you with a good morning or good afternoon."

"the staff and the location were absolutely the best. we have stayed in Solvang many times before however, this stay was far and above anything prior. we stay in Solvang every time we travel north and will be staying at King Frederick again, bet on it. the breakfast and room were superb as was the staff, highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a great stay at the Edgewater Inn and Suites in Pismo Beach. Our room selection worked out especially well because we didn't have anyone above us, so we never had to deal with footsteps or noise overhead, which made the stay very relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was always polite, friendly, and helpful whenever we needed anything. The location is also hard to beat — it's very convenient for enjoying Pismo Beach and everything nearby. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and felt the hotel offered a nice combination of cleanliness, comfort, friendly service, and a great location. We would definitely stay here again."

"Very nice hotel overall. I enjoyed my experience there and will definitely be going back. I liked that when you walked in to reception area there was a nice open space where breakfast is served. Very easy and straightforward. I loved the bedroom layout. We booked a standard 2 bed no smoking, however, the room layout we got was unique (at least to me). When you first walk in, (aside from the obvious) you’ll see the large window, queen bed, desk&chair, AC/heat unit, large TV, a mini sink, microwave, mini refrigerator, k-pod coffee maker. It gets better, you continue to walk to the other side of you’ll see the restroom and another room with a door that locks and inside a king size bed with dresser, large lounge chair, large tv, medium sized closet with iron and iron board, a large window AC/heat unit. I loved it so much, it gave just the right amount of lighting in both areas, privacy, and all in the same room."
