"Can't praise this hotel highly enough.Beautifully clean from entering the hotel to our very spacious room. Great quiet area and very peaceful and relaxing ambience. "The hotel was great, the 3 person room was spacious with a great balcony with a view of the sea and sunset and a large bathroom. The beds were so comfy we had a great sleep. We really enjoyed our stay and we would happily return. The restaurants on site had great food and large portions. Also great breakfast selection and plenty of space in the restaurant or terrace. Spa was great, we had the hamam and it was as good as it was in Turkey. Went for a boat trip, the pick-up was close to the hotel which was amazing and so worth it. The only downs I would give the hotel would be regarding the signage around the hotel - when we were staying they were doing some works next to the pools and also there was some filming done around the hotel so some paths were closed and we had to go around. The issue is that the 4 buildings of the hotel look almost the same and the signage was not large enough or clear enough so we ended up lost and going in circles and we've seen many other guests doing the same. Another one would be that even though housekeeping would come everyday and the room was clean, the bedsheets have not been changed at all during our 6 nights stay which I would have like to have it done at least once. Also a few more hooks for hanging stuff in the bathroom would be great as I mentioned, there were 3 of us and we found we didn't have enough space to hang all the towels to dry. And a clothes airer on the balcony for wet bathing suits would be the cherry on top."

"In the main this is a great hotel with many positives. Location is fab , with a bus stop near and a few restaurants / bars in either direction. However there desperately needs to be a crossing on the main road up from the harbour , this is dangerous !!!! Also a supermarket / grocery store closer would be helpful. The hotel itself is full of old charm , the room was spacious and incredibly clean... yes dated as we were in a non refurbished one . However it added to the quaintness. Housekeeping was very good , although I did have to ask reception to move drinks bottles on our corridor that had been left for nearly 2 days. Breakfast was fabulous , a good choice and lovely setting. Finally the swimming pool was definitely the WOW factor. We had a great time using this frequently and never tired of the view xx"

"The quaint hotel Is a little gem. The staff is amazing, very helpful and attentive. A special mention to Frankie who was so informative and provided excellent customer service. The hotel was very clean and had all we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The location is great. Well connected to local attractions and beautiful beaches by public transport. Worth while to buy a flexi ticket for unlimited travel which also includes the ferry crossing (we took the catamaran which departs from Valletta and only takes 45 min to get to Gozo. (€14 return ticket). The island of Gozo is wonderful and people very friendly, I would highly recommend a trip there and definitely staying at the Quaint hotel."

"This lovely property is up the hill from the main port in Mgarr in Gozo and is very well equipped and spacious. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and main living space are a godsend. we travelled in in july and the temperatures were 40C on several days!!! We didnt need a car as the nearby bus stop took you directly to the gorgeous sandy Ramla beach (go to the right end of the beach for the best sands and lovely snorkelling).We arrived late on a friday evening & were greeted by the host - with wine and food as well as a tour of the houses amenities and some excellent tips on how to get around the island.The views from the balconies & terraces are fantastic - its wonderful to watch the ferries and boats come and go from the harbour. You can also clearly see the famous blue lagoon from the terraces! There was a gas BBQ on the terrace and plenty of associated equipment in the kitchen so we ate on the roof and played family games into the night. This is a lovely place to stay. Its easy to get around Gozo and there is plenty to see and do for a week.The villa has beach equipment available as well as the bikes. Be aware that the villa is half way up a pretty steep hill - we elected not to bike in the summer heat even though we are all fit and active. The nearest supermarket is also a bit of a walk away - but opening hours are long and its well equipped. We'd recommend this property for its high standards & the host for his communication & helpfulness"
