El hotel está situado en un paraje absolutamente increíble. El hotel es pequeño pero muy bien cuidado y atendido. La única pega es que internet no funciona siempre y el teléfono tampoco. Por lo demás extraordinario. Volveremos

Fantastisk sted som man ikke vil snyde sig selv fo

Et ualmindelig smukt og særegent lille familiedrevet hotel. Far og datter driver stedet der for 300 år siden var en gammelt kloster. Stedet ligger afsondret; men det er bestemt et besøg værd!! Vores værelse var meget smukt og lå perfekt med en altan på solsiden og ud mod en meget smuk udsigt. Vi havde vores Newfounlænder hund med ( 69 kg !! ) Det var IKKE noget problem !! Vi blev tværtimod opgraderet til et større værelse😊 Maden er et kapitel for sig !!! Vi spiste vores aftensmad på stedet to aftener. Og det var så lækkert og smagfuldt !!! Det må man ikke snyde sig selv for !!! 3 retter med vin og kaffe for KUN 25 Euro/pers. Morgenmaden var ligeledes pragtfuld med ene af små hjemmelavede og lokale delikatesser .

Comfort and luxury at the end of the road

The road was long and windy to get there, but the welcome and beauty of the place vastly made up for it! The property is less than 30 minutes from the center of Santiago, located in a green valley. The main house dates from the early 18th century, with thick granite walls, and has been wonderfully restored with all modern comfort (including good wifi!). The service is excellent and we had our best breakfast in the whole Iberian peninsula, all for a very reasonable price. Our stay was too short but we would love to come back...

Say hello to Greta!

A lovely former monastery on the mountain Bachao north of Santiago. It is family owned and operated with lovely breakfast (8.62 euros) and good size rooms. There are 3 cute dogs who great you upon arrival. The littlest one is Greta. I'd give the ensuite room 3 stars due to the stairs (we have bad knees) and the antique drawers are very difficult to open. But the owners, breakfast, dinner (25 euros), and the quiet, beautiful location earn it 5 stars. A car is required.

La casa esta muy bien, la habitacion enorme y con vistas al rio. El baño espectacular. El desayuno muy rico. Lo malo es que esta bastante apartado de todo. Para salir a comer o cenar tienes un tramo de al menos 20-30 minutos en coche. Fuimos con un niño de 2 años, y no es lo mas adecuado, ya que al estar en lo alto de una montaña, no puedes dejar al niño que corra, ya que hay desniveles muy grandes por donde puede caer. En cualquier caso, la estancia fue muy agradable, y el personal muy atento. El dia que marchamos nos fuimos a pasar la tarde a la playa fluvial de Tapia, que esta a 10 minutos. Muy bonito tambien.

It is a beautiful farm house with nice rooms and the views. We really appreciate that the owners stayed very late in order to meet us as we were running very late. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent and prices are reasonable. I love everything about this place and highly recommend it to anybody who likes the nature and privacy.

A physically beautiful property. Our very large room was most likely a part of a barn in its long ago existence so the windows were just above floor level and tiny. Sounds like it could be bad but it darkened the room very nicely allowing a bit of a sleep-in. The room's ambience was enhanced by its size, more like a suite, and it had a huge ensuite bathroom with lovely toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. The whole place was a delight, like a Spanish version of the Italian agriturismo. If you like the quiet countryside yet be 20 minutes from a city like Santiago this is your home! Car is essential. Favourite dog: Shusha, a tiny blonde poodle.

Excellent à tous points de vue

Séjour exceptionnel dans un lieu magique. Le service est impeccable, le dîner somptueux et le petit déjeuner digne d'une grande adresse. L'accueil de notre chien n'a posé aucun problème bien au contraire, les propriétaires ayant eux-mêmes des chiens. Nous ne saurions que trop recommander cet établissement.
