My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in mid-October. The women at the reception desk were always very friendly and helpful, and their English was quite good, which helps a lot for us non-Spanish speakers. The location was fantastic: close enough to the center of the old town to walk easily, but far enough from the center that our street only had one restaurant with a late-night crowd, so the noise at night was very manageable. The street is on a hill, however, and walking to the hotel could be a challenge for some, as well as climbing the stairs to upper floor rooms, as there is no elevator. (The woman at reception did offer to help with our luggage when we checked in.) The room was on the small side (but adequate) and aesthetically pleasing. I particularly liked the stone walls, and the old photos of Galician life that were displayed in our room and in the halls. The only negative about our room was the uncomfortably hard mattresses and pillows, but it did not keep me from sleeping. Breakfast was available for a small fee (6.5 euro I think) and we had it the first morning but were underwhelmed, and went elsewhere the rest of our time there.
