"Nice location, easy to get to from train station and central to everything in town and the walking district. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Staff was flexible with check out which was great since we had to leave early. Breakfast was good but simple so if you are looking for more options, just note. If you have any food restrictions, not sure if you can mention ahead of time, but limited options of you have a dairy or gluten allergy. Note if you have trouble with stairs, you have to do stairs to get to the rooms."

"The hotel was lovely and had great parking. Initially, I was given Room 1, which was the accessible superior room. I hadn’t requested an accessible room, but that wouldn’t have been a problem. The room itself was a good size and had a terrace, which would normally be a real bonus. However, the room was quite dark due to its location at the back of the hotel, and the terrace faced a brick wall, so there wasn’t really a view. Unfortunately, there was also an issue with flies in the bathroom that day. The staff did try to deal with them, but they returned, so I asked to move rooms. I was then moved to Room 229 on the second floor, which was more like the room pictured in the advertising, and it was beautiful. It was at the front of the building with a lovely view over the street, and I absolutely loved it. The only minor negative was the shower area. The shower base was a little grubby and the bottom of the shower screen had become yellow. It would be an easy job to replace it and would make the room so much better. That said, everywhere was otherwise spotlessly clean Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The location was excellent — close to the shops, the Château and everything I wanted to visit. As a solo traveller, I found everything very easy and convenient, and I would happily stay again."

"We were surprised the hotel is not in the current Michelin guide presumably because strictly speaking you do not have a restaurant. They seem to have a new policy on thisI think you should take this up with the guide - we found you on a website but in general I rely on the Michelin for a reliable recommendation. And the restaurant which is in the guide does not make the connection with the hotel clear."
