The property has multiple styles of rooms to suit different types of travellers. We stayed in a glamping “potato” it was pretty good, price was solid, bed was comfy, though it does get damp at night (be prepared for that). The only thing we noticed was there was a lot of flies (bugs). Which I’m told is just the area....

"What an incredible stay we had at the Kayon Jungle Resort. Myself and my partner visited as part of our honeymoon trip to Bali and we could not speak highly enough of the experience we had at this beautiful hotel. From start to finish the staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel as special as could be, whether it be constantly remembering my wife’s vegan dietary requirements and supporting accordingly, or such simple things as remembering exactly what we had been up to on any given day and checking in at every moment. Nothing was too big an ask, including arrangement of private transport for our own excursions (shout out Malen our driver!) or recommendations for places to visit/do. We could not recommend this place enough, the staff are an absolute credit to the hotel and the whole island. Loved it!"

"A Peaceful Ubud Retreat with Exceptional Food and Amenities We were very happy with our stay at The Udaya Resorts and Spa. The resort is located in a quiet and peaceful area, about 10 minutes or so by car from the main part of Ubud. While it is a little away from the centre, we actually enjoyed being away from the crowds and found it a relaxing place to stay. For a four-star property, we were particularly impressed with the room amenities and the quality of the food. In fact, we found the overall experience here even better than some of the five-star properties we stayed at during our trip, including Sudamala in Sanur. I would definitely recommend The Udaya Resorts and Spa to travellers looking for a more peaceful and less busy Ubud experience, while still being within easy driving distance of the main attractions and town centre.
