"This is a beautiful resort. Our room smelled weird on arrival but everything else about the room was nice, view etc. The staff is all incredibly kind and were great with my teen sons, throwing a baseball and playing volleyball. On our next visit we would definitely upgrade to a preferred room as there are more food choices at that level. I don't love buffets and that is the main food choice available for breakfast and lunch. There is a great coffee shop though that sells sandwiches and pastries and cakes that we started going to instead of the buffet and that worked out great. We loved sitting on the beach, we could always find seats with shade and there was a great breeze."

" Worst experience ever. From the very beginning, “no” seemed to be the staff’s favorite word. We were constantly told that reservations were unavailable and that the restaurant would be fully booked for days. It felt unwelcoming and frustrating. However, I want to highlight Ricardo, Alejandro, and Frank, who provided the best customer service during our stay. They truly made an effort to help us with everything, including finding a way to get us into the restaurant despite being told it was impossible—especially Lilly, who went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. At checkout, when we expressed our concerns, the response we received was dismissive, suggesting it was “probably our perception because we were Hispanic,” which was extremely inappropriate and concerning. My friends and I traveled from Florida with high expectations, but we left feeling let down. This hotel seems to focus more on appearances than on genuine hospitality and respectful customer service. "

"The property was in a safe, gated village and exactly as described - quiet, private, spacious and very comfortable with good quality fixtures and fittings.Local taxi service to get around Cap Cana region and Marina reasonable US5 with friendly local drivers. Property very difficultvto find as it, along with many others in the neighbour had no visible numbering on them so a nightmare for taxis picking up/ dropping off. Property had several thoughtful touches such as sun hat, 4 bottles of water on arrival but no instructions for the safe and limited toiletries and supplies so make sure to take these with you. That said locals all very friendly and didnt spoil our stay which we enjoyed and was very relaxing. Thank you."

"The property was well kept, including the grounds, which were attended to by staff every day of the week that we stayed. Please note to use what’s app as that is what homelike uses to communicate information about check in and check out. The villa had plates, glasses, etc. no salt, pepper, laundry detergent, and not enough toilet paper, but were able to purchase these items at the green village store area or the las Canas super Mercado. Our concierge Veronica was very helpful with information through our stay. It was challenging to locate the villa, even with a Google pin and photo. Note that if you are at Green Village, you need to enter through the security gate. Most of the dwellings do not have house numbers. You can probably get further help from homelike, but we winged it and it took us quite awhile to find our villa. Overall very good, I recommend that homebelike meet guests at the green village cash and carry and direct guests to their rental. Otherwise all was very nice. "
