"Most lovely welcome from Julie the Manager, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, mini fridge, room was nice and warm. Will definitely book again when they reopen in Spring"

"The issue with the hotel is the parking. A great hotel for us and our dog but the parking was an issue as my husband is disabled and we couldn’t get parked near to the hotel"

"Yes, these rooms are above a pub but you can’t hear any noise. The appointments were like that of a luxury hotel. The staff worked behind the bar at the pub for the most part and they were extremely responsive to any request. Not sure many tourists find their way to this particular town, but if you’re anywhere near Scarborough, this is the place to stay."

"Very well appointed; wonderfully kind, helpful staff, second to none. Excellent breakfasts. Several flights of stairs to any rooms, no lift. Street parking only, not ‘on-site’ as listed. We were in quieter season, so street spaces could be found. In itself, a superb hotel."
