"We were able to check in earlier than the 3:00 pm The man greeted us warmly and spoke English. He explained everything so thoroughly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure The location was perfect close to the train station. Everything was within walking distance. Excellent stay! Highly recommend!"

"Great location within the main shopping area. A few minutes walk to the Döm and old town, and to the chocolate museum. Automated check in code didn’t seem to work but it was daytime so we just went inside to the reception desk where the staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, though very small. Bathroom was functional but the shower door was a little temperamental. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so can’t comment on that. We found the department store across the road had a lovely buffet for only 5€. I would certainly stay at this hotel again, it was good value for money and surprisingly quiet for such a central location. "
"Really liked how it was self service, very easy, beautiful rooms felt so fancy. We had a small issue with our TV, emailed the help desk at 10.30pm and by 10.35 we had a staff member there helping us. Incredible.

"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly.
Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal!
The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere.
Central location right by lots of bars/ restaurants and a very short walk to the Rhine.
Loved our visit to the hotel and to Cologne, we will be back to visit you both again"
"Excellent hotel . Reception staff very friendly and sorted all our small issues quickly and efficiently. Lift stop in front of reception so easy to carry suitcases etc .Room very clean and comfortable. No noise from street .Very close to places of interest River Rhine cathedrals and buses and ferry. Shops and places to eat on same street just outside hotel so very convenient. Did not have breakfast in hotel as a bit expensive."
