It is a beautiful area to visit, and the Hotel is within walking distance of both castles.

Convenient location with a nice breakfast included and lovely surrounding area. There was a bit of noise overnight - doors opening / closing and heavy footfalls - but otherwise a good stay!

Incredible views, Great Service
Great place to stay. This was our second trip to Neuschwanstein. If we come here again this is where we will stay again. The morning views of the castle from the balcony are still chilling

Quaint and quintessential
Quaintest hotel I’ve had the pleasure to visit! The staff were friendly. Parking was free as was breakfast! The shampoo was amazing! The room was large and I could have stayed longer happily!

very conveniently located close to Neuschwanstein Castle. Hotel itself was good, clean & quiet. I particular like the parking lot which is only a few yards from the hotel, which made my stay more convenient

A beautiful and serene area. The room was good and the balcony was an added bonus. They did not charge extra for parking and we were able to get tickets for the schloss from them- this usually sells out

THE perfect location! Right at the base of the trail to hike up to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Even has a small parking lot for guests to park in for free. You won't find a hotel with a better view of the castles. Aside from the great location, this place was beautifully decorated. Dark woods, lots of storage space, exceptional customer service... I will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

This was a wonderful place to stay. A 7 minute walk uphill to Hohenschwangau, and a 25 minute walk (at a good pace) uphill to Neuschwanstein. Views of both right outside. Horse carriage to Neuschwanstein right across the street, or a bus just 100 yards away

Perfect location
Our stay for one night was great. Spacious room and really nice breakfast. Located very close to both castles. Wish we had stayed longer. Would definitely book this property in the future.

A Real Gem!

We stayed for 1 night because we wanted to tour the castle. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful and lined our tickets for us to the castle. I highly recommend this place and will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Elegance at the Castle.
This is the perfect hotel to stay at for visiting both the castles. Walking distance to ticket office. The transport horse and buggy or bus ride are right outside. The hotel has parking and excellent breakfast staff are very professional.

Beautiful place to stay, close to the castle tours. Hotel is old time beauty, but the beds are like sleeping on boards. Staff is amazing!

Our room was a very comfortable size for 3 adults and a teenage son. Breakfast was great. And most if all, Sabine at the front desk was really wonderful. She helped booked our last minute tickets to Neuschwanstein Castle, gave us good recommendations for diving route, etc. she was just very pleasant and helpful.

Hotel is clean, conveniently located to the castle & buses to & from the train station. The horses & wagons are right out front to take you to the castle. Staff i helpful and accommodations are clean & comfortable. Definitely worth the stay.

Sabine was lovely- very helpful and friendly and they let me checkin early after flying for 36 hours which was greatly appreciated! Excellent breakfast; which is buffet and a La carte, the ladies were very friendly. This hotel has prime position opposite the castle and next to the bus. And the view of the castle from our balcony was spectacular . My only negative is the antiquated shower in the bath, which is very difficult and dangerous. The rooms are extremely spacious with lots of storage but the beds could be bigger as could the tv. Excellent staff and a location that can’t be beat.
