We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this specific resort. The rooms were clean but a bit small for a family of 4. Some of the pro’s of the hotel were; having a coffee maker in the room, the convenience of the hotel location to universal studios, water taxi, food options were fair. A solid 4 stars!

I expected more from the property given the great reviews. I found the cleanliness to be below expectations, with details like the sink not being properly cleaned and stained sheets provided on both beds in the room. We found the service to be adequate, with the check in reception being pleasant but some other services in the hotel not quite. The dining options offered are pretty good, but food over salted. The location of the hotel is amazing, as is the pool area. For ease of getting to Universal this is a gem (you can walk or take a quick boat ride) and the landscaping around the hotel is beautiful. But for a hotel like this, it misses the mark in quality of service and attention to detail.

Excellent choice and very happy I booked this property. We came into town for the July 4th holiday weekend. The visit was primarily to visit family who live in the area, but we also wanted to experience some of the resort scene while we were in Orlando. This ended up being a great choice that served those needs perfectly. We did not go to any of the actual Universal parks, but the free Water Taxi to CityWalk was a great diversion and super convenient. My nieces and nephews had a great time coming to visit us at Sapphire Falls and the resort provided us endless activities that we otherwise would not have had just hanging out at their house. Facilities were super clean, amenities were stellar, pool scene was fun and cool. I would definitely stay here again. Look forward to actually going to the parks next time!

I really liked the property. Very clean. Not a lot of dining options on site. I also think that the reusable cup, costing $20 each, at the hotel (part of the Universal Orlando hotels) should be usable at Universal Theme Park. They are not and we need to buy another cup for $20/each at Universal to get unlimited drinks. Walkable and we loved the boat to go to Universal Citywalk. Overall a great stay.

We had a great time at the resort. Our tv stopped working the first day and the staff were very accommodating. Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There was a text message system as well as calling for the front desk. The property was 5 minutes from Universal via water taxi and 10 minutes by free shuttle bus. The pool was amazing and has a fun slide. Had a great stay and would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again.
