Have always loved staying here in the past but hadn’t visited since the reopening. We were thrilled to be back and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine all weekend too. "

"We were told that breakfast started at 7.30. Our train was at 7.50 so would not get breakfast. This is very poor show for a STATION hotel. Fortunately the night porter came on duty and said he would make up a take away continental package. So much more helpful that the receptionist man. We had a lovely continental breakfast on the train. But surely a station hotel should be serving breakfast from at least 7.00?"
