"Hotel location is really convenient: has 711 convenient store across the street, there are a lot of restaurants and bars close to the hotel, has the beach front access with chairs and umbrellas, the beach is across the street - clean but has a lot of seaweeds, the room is nice and clean, the price is not too expensive compared with other hotels with private beach. They charged $36 for resort fee that is ok with us, however the pool was small and closed for maintenance, the rest room at the lobby next to the elevators was smelled liked sewage, the room we booked was ocean view but looking down was all pipes and greenish water pool. There is the construction, hope they will fix the sewage problem"

"We only stayed at Beach House Fort Lauderdale for three days, but we had a great experience! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and in a perfect location right by the beach. We also really enjoyed the restaurants at the hotel - the food was delicious and there were plenty of options."

"Great Experience! Came down for 2day stayed 1 night while family was visiting. Our room was very spacious and was fully stocked with amenities. The bathroom was clean amd had beach vibes which is nice to come back to from visiting the beach located directly across the street. Front Desk staff and check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. The resorts around the area where a bit out dated so the modern clean feel was a win win. The parking lot is very tight so if you have little ones watch how they open the doors so no nicks on paint scratches. I did not see surveillance cameras in the lot but do hear from locals that cars get broken into so I did check occasionally on ours. The hotel was great and they things you can use at the beach just make sure to return them back in spots you grabbed from. The 5th floor roof Terrence is beautiful and the view is great with a nice breeze. Only downfall is the elevator is only way up or down to it and if you are costrophobic that ride is a tad longer then would like. I would definitely book again if needed to go this area."

"We had a very pleasant stay at the Sonesta. From the moment we arrived, the valet staff were extremely courteous, friendly, relaxed, and respectful. The Front Desk service was wonderful. I don’t remember the name of the lady who assisted us, but she had short brown hair and glasses. She was extremely kind and helpful, explained our credits and services, and helped us change our ocean-view king room to a more comfortable room with two beds. She is an excellent staff member. I also want to recognize two restaurant staff members who were especially caring toward my mother, who was experiencing high blood pressure. The young brunette breakfast server even remembered the next morning what my mother had eaten and brought her tea and fruit. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us. The gray-haired gentleman serving lunch was equally kind and made sure my mother’s meat was prepared exactly as she needed it. Things could be improved: the pool is very small for an 11-story hotel during summer season. Please think to add another pool space to the property, and some bathtub tiles needed a deeper scrub. The pool/bar also seemed understaffed; I requested a mimosa and drinks menu and after about 10 minutes it never arrived. Despite these details, we had a very good experience. The kindness and genuine care shown by the valet, Front Desk staff, and restaurant staff made us feel truly welcome. We would definitely consider staying at Sonesta again. Thank you!"
