"The hotel is in a good location, however the location is so centrally located the bars are playing loud music late. It’s not so bad on the weekdays but the weekends it goes pretty late. Even with a white noise machine we brought you could still hear the bass. Facing the plaza would definitely be the loudest. In the summer with no heat on we still needed to have the window open to get a cooler temperature. Which of course makes things louder. Other than the noise everything was great. There are some pretty good restaurants near the hotel as well."

"The room was cleaned. Housekeeping only on request. Room was very basic, nothing like the 4 stars in other countries. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very basic. We had dinner in the restaurant on the day we arrived. It was 9pm, kitchen was about to close and they still served us. We enjoyed the meal."

"Everything was fantastic!! The breakfast was clutch, the rooms were amazing and staff was super helpful! I loved how close this hotel is to alot of the sights and things to do while you're visiting! Huge food scene just around the corner! My only advice is to people driving here, they have free parking for guests but very limited spaces. Luckily the street parking is free after 9pm. Other than that, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Reykjavik"

"Room was clean but because of the post pride parade party the hotel was a bit of a mess. The outdoor top deck had broken glass, cig butts, etc. And, it needed some seating. The shower in the standard room is a joke. Tiny and the entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. Very quiet and a good location"
