You couldn’t pick a nicer place!
Beautiful apartment, comfortable facilities, proximity to so much in town and hiking nearby. Great art exhibit nearby. We love the apartment look and feel, the pool is amazing, breakfast was wonderful. Parking very close.

Parfait pour une visite des Dolomites. Proximité des sentiers et de l’épicerie. Nous avions hésiter à réserver à val Gardena, mais après l’avoir vécu, aucun regret. Beaucoup plus charmant que Cortina d’Amprezo comme village. Hôtel parfait!

The place is great. The staff is very helpful. The apartment is a little outdated and the hotel itself is a maze of halls. Breakfast was OK, but I wish they had some/any vegan options.

Rooms are apartment style which was really nice. There is a full kitchen and we had 2 separate bedrooms. Parking was ample. My only complaint is that there are 2 buildings. We were not in the one with the lobby so the 2nd building does not exit on to the main street. You exited behind the building and had to go up a few flights of stairs outside and go out a locked gait. The key card to unlock the gait took many attempts each time which was annoying because it was raining. Also. returning to the facilities after sunset fet a little hazardous. The area is extremely dark and there was little lighting. Staff in lobby was friendly.

I had a much better experience the year before. Just my bad luck I ended up in a room next to the elevator with lot of loud drunk guests returning to their room early in the morning disturbing my sleep. The property was OK

Great Place for Ski Trip and More
Property itself was much nicer and newer than I had thought. Actually much nicer than pics. Must have been largely renovated. It's located at the heart of Val Gardena and chairs/gondola are walking distance from the property. The town is pretty and has tons of good eats and shopping. I highly recommend this property and will definitely visit again!

We stayed in the apartments which were immaculate when we arrived and we had access to all the hotel facilities if needed. We had breakfast most mornings for 15 euros a day which was very good with a good selection on offer. Also unlimited buffet offer so very good value all in all. About 100m to the Campionoi lift but there are lockers at the lift if you don't want to walk up and down every day with skis and boots. We didn't use it so not sure how much that was but I think it was about 10 euros a day with room for more than one set of skis and boots. I didn't have any issue with carrying my gear every day though and the locker rooms in the apartments were big so it wasn't cramped in there at all.

Althought the Hotel is very well located, it is very expensive for the quality you will get. Need to be updated. Is like beeing in a ski resort hotel of the 90s. The room doesn't look like to one in the pictures, the ski locked are good but they dont turn on the boots heaters so expect to start your day with a freezing toe.... The spa is charged extra... However, the reception they tried to make the best out of stage

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff was professional and friendly, breakfast was delicious, location was perfect. Only issue was noise coming from the bell tower right behind the room we stayed. However, it was during the day only.

The position was great. Not as clean as it should have been. Hair on pillows and bathroom rubbish not removed before we arrived. No dishwasher products. No coffee tea etc. in fact basics of when you stay at a property like this we’re not provided. This made the property one we would probably not recommend.

I would not recommend staying here. It’s not horrible but there is definitely better for you money. Service was subpar, not once was my room cleaned or was I given clean towels even after request via phone. Room/Amenities were nice but overall I can’t recommend.

Good hotel, bad shower.
This was my second time staying at Antares. The first was with a group of friends in a 2-bedroom, and it was excellent- nice rooms, lots of space, 2 bathrooms. This time I had a one-bedroom with my husband. The room was great, except for the bathroom. The tiny shower (normal for Italy, but much smaller than the other room) couldn’t maintain a consistent temperature. It would go hot and cold every few seconds- not ideal for cleaning up after a day of adventuring. I told the front desk and they didn’t seem too concerned about fixing it or helping in any way.

Like: Location. Did not like the smell in the locker room. Stuffy smell. Idea - don't heart it up. All that go there to deposit skies are dressed up. Need to extract air as boot warmers take all the foot stench from the boots and spread it around the locker area.

It was great to have separate bedrooms for ourselves and our teenage daughter. Apartment was really spacious and well appointed. Wrap around balcony was a real treat. Cooking facilities were a bit limited but perfectly adequate for breakfast and snacks. More benches in the ski depot would have been a bonus as there was rarely anywhere to sit down. Hotel staff were excellent and spoke brilliant English. Our arriving flight was really early but the staff got our room ready early and we felt it was no trouble at all

Liked the location and the pool was very nice. We were a bit disappointed in the towel and bedding changes. They didn’t take away the used towels and we didn’t know what to do with them. They did not supply sufficient garabage bags or towel paper.

Antares is well situated in the main street of Selva di Val Gardena. It is close to a grocery store and restaurants, and coffee shops. It is a little walk up to the ski gondola. The hotel provides secure ski lock up. The room was very clean and tasteful, but could use a lounge chair as the only seating is the dining table. The other frustration (as with so many other accommodations) is the lack of hanging space for wet towels. Some more hooks in the bathroom would be perfect. Overall it is a pleasant enough hotel but it is not good value for money.

Nice hotel with beatiful views of the Dolomiti
Overall a good pick in Val Gardena with great views of the surrounding mountains On the plus side: - Great buffet breakfast at reasonable price - Nice motorized blinds in the rooms which keep your bedroom pitch black - Free parking (although a bit crowded) - great location close to main road, shopping, restaurants etc On the minus: - internet or wifi unstable/unreliable for streaming content - could be OK for just getting emails or web browsing - be aware that there's no included room cleaning services in the appartments side of the hotel, if this is required it must be booked through reception - the thermostats are not controllable by guests, so depending on outside temperatures it might seem either cold or warm indoors

Dear Claudiu thank you for your reviews. We are happy to know that you appreciated our breakfast, motorized blinds and free outdoor parking. The Internet connection will be upgraded from next Winter (2017/18). Room temperature is centrally controlled from the reception but you can adjust it a couple of degrees.
