The Little House in the woods

"This home away from home was perfect, clean, spacious and has a well stocked kitchen with lots of dishes, pots, pans, etc. The beds were comfortable and the linen was super soft cotton and beautiful blankets. The outdoor space was very sunny and the front deck was covered enough to enjoy sun or shade all day. Turkeys and deer visited every day, the property is beautiful and well kept. Carol and Randall were super friendly and our stay was wonderful. Our five day stay went quickly so we will have to come back!"

"Great experience! The location and house were exactly as described. Kids loved the game room! Appreciated the owner's proactive communication and responsiveness. Great location, only minutes from downtown Sandpoint. We were very happy with our stay!"

"The room i stayed in was pretty good especially for the price. The rooms have been remodeled and are what the photos show. Pro: everything is pretty much new. Liked that there was a kitchen and full fridge with microwave, sink and stove. Bathroom was really nice too (you will need to use the kitchen sink to wash hands as theres no bathroom sink) and bed was pretty comfortable. The area is overall pretty quiet (besides the cars on the road). The area is also very pretty and you can see alot of the Idaho mountains from your window. Cons: its near the highways and the rooms are incredibly thin. I could hear everything my neighbor was doing from moving around, slightly coughing and grabbing things from the fridge. You can hear every car pass on the highway, and alot of semis pass by. There is a noise machine in the room but I decided against using it so that is on me but something to be aware about. The floors are also really creaky so I had to be careful where I walked so I didn't bother my downstairs neighbor. Also my bed frame was incredibly squeaky. It squeaked everytime i moved slightly in the bed. :( Since it is right off the main road it can be a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. Overall these are very very minor inconveniences and they cant control the cars on the road. So I dont want to deduct points on that."

"Kristine answered any communication/questions I may have had immediately! Entire house was clean. Great view and no issues whatsoever with goose droppings on the property as mentioned by some guests! We didn’t get much time to actually relax this time as we were out a lot. We did not take advantage of the hot tub or the theater room during this trip. We hope to come back and actually just relax. Some guests have mentioned the trains but we really don’t hear them at night or during the day. Not an issue for us! Great vacation place!"

"We loved staying here! The house was clean, comfortable, and had so many thoughtful touches for our family. We especially appreciated the toys and coloring activities for the kids, as well as the popcorn maker! The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to others!"
