"I love the concrete design and practical setup. Everything we needed and more for our 4 night stay, the first of our Japan trip, convenient and quiet location. Great wifi and iron available when needed. Bed was very comfortable too."
"The hotel is centrally located in Tokyo, walking distance to Shinjuku station, major shopping, and touristic attractions. Breakfast is the best. Nice coffeeshop in the premises. 7/11 with ATM right outside the building. "

Top Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Hotel Reviews
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
10/10 Excellent
"This is a phenomenal, first time to Tokyo, stay that everyone should have! It is in the heart of Shinjuku with all the entertainment, restaurants, bars, hustle and bustle energy that gives you the true Tokyo experience! Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Their customer service is phenomenal. They have laundry. We had a city view that was spectacular. The Godzilla head that lies on the eighth floor, where the reception is, makes for a fun vibe! This hotel caters to tourist, which is nice for a first time stay. I was so impressed that I rebooked this hotel on the tail end of my trip after going to Kyoto. For sure I will book here again. It is centrally located and walking distance to a major train station. When booking be aware that some of the rooms are under 200 ft.² so for a solo traveler that’s fine especially if you’re not planning on being there long. The second time around I chose a room that was over 300 feet which was much more spacious and worth the extra money!"
"This was the perfect hotel to end our trip with! It was the largest and had the best view, we were in the 35th floor. We had everything we could ever need in that room including great skin care!
The staff was amazing and kind.
The lounges were great and breakfast yummy.
The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the pool. My daughter and I were looking forward to spending some time there but there was no comfort to that area. No beach umbrellas or anything exciting you on. "
"Front desk staff was nice. I always stay at Washington when I stay in Japan. Airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel and convenience stores in the same building. Rooms are tiny but can handle it. "
