good clean room. lovely shower room ensuite. no lift. very pleasant staff. easy check-in. pity no breakfast but plenty of good eateries nearby. overall a good basic hotel and would stay here again

When we first arrived, I thought "oh, no". Lobby is dark, entire place is tucked away, no A/C, and no lift. We had to haul our luggage up 37 steps of a NARROW, spiral staircase.
Our room was clean and adequate, and actually had the biggest, nicest, newest shower of anyplace we've stayed so far. (4th hotel of this trip)
There was a fan in the room, and they brought a second one upon our request. I'll have to admit, that even in August, with the window open and the fans, we were COMPLETELY comfortable and slept well.
The location, right in the city center is very convenient. So, despite my initial skepticism, this hotel was completely satisfactory and a good value.
