Superb property and hosts.
Beautifully presented with everything ( and more) that we could have wanted. Exceptionally clean!!
Hot tub lovely ,surroundings lovely too.
The hosts provided excellent communication and were on hand if any problems arose.
Great location for Shrewsbury which was visited via a local taxi.
We will be staying again as soon as we can .
What a stunning property, it has been converted, decorated & furnished to an excellent standard, down to every last detail. Even the toiletries smelt amazing, so much so we visited the shop of the local producer to bring some home with us. The property is very well equipped with everything you need and is situated in a lovely quiet village. The bedrooms are large & very comfortable, as is the living area. The whole place was immaculate throughout, including the hot tub, and the outside area was really pretty.Adam & Elaine were on hand if needed but were not at all intrusive. We would all thoroughly recommend the place & would definitely stay there again.
We have visited many lovely holiday properties over the years but The Pigeon House has to be the best. Elaine and Adam (the owners) have designed an exceptional building with fantastic facilities. They have also put a huge amount of effort into providing a level of service and information that makes you feel special. They are also keen to get guest feedback so they can fine tune an already excellent experience. We cannot recommend The Pigeon House highly enough.
We have just returned from a week away at Pigeon House. I can't fault the property - or the owners! Elaine and Adam were always quick to respond to queries and were on hand but kept a respectful distance. Pigeon House was spotlessly clean when we arrived and Elaine gave us a guided tour and showed us how everything worked. It was very well-equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely and the en-suites perfect - good showers, plenty of room (and toilet rolls!) more than enough towels and hand/body wash and body lotion. Elaine and Adam had thought of just about everything to make our stay enjoyable. Even the woodburner was set. Unfortunately we didn't get to use it as the heating in Pigeon House is too good! The hot tub is great and was checked over every day. It's only five miles from Shrewsbury and there are plenty of pubs and restaurants around. I wouldn't hesitate to return if we get the chance!
Besides the Pidgeon House being absolutely gorgeously finished and decorated the delightful hosts Adam and Elaine have supplied every accoutrement one could need for your best possible home away from home experience. From heated floors and towel warmers in the bathrooms and deliciously scented bath soaps from a local maker, the bathrooms are a delight. If you plan to cook simply or extravagantly, the kitchen is supplied with all manner of cutlery, pots, pans, trays, large refrigerator, convection oven, the list goes on. You will not be disappointed. As an architect, I would be inclined to say that the beautiful renovation of this building is the crowning glory of the stay here, BUT... to come home from long days of walking, hiking or driving the plethora of lovely places to visit from here and have a hot spa waiting for you to loosen your muscles while you listen to all manner of singing birds, you will be in heaven before retiring each evening.Don't miss out!
