"Pros, very clean, very tidy. We didnt eat there as we wanted to eat out. Staff happy to help. Rooms equipped with iron and board, also a hair dryer. Tv good size. Shower decent. Cons. Snacks in lobby very expensive, take your own snacks. This is a premium hotel (very similar to a hilton) slapped in a rough area."

"The hotel overall was very presentable. The room was clean and tidy with all facilities we required. We met family from London in the evening for a meal at the restaurant. The food was quite disappointing and some members did not finish their food. It was ok, but not to a good standard. For a 1-night stop it was fine, and the room was well insulated for noise being so near to London City airport. Breakfast was very good and presented well."

"I cannot thankthe staff here enough for their kindness. After arriving in Uber, my Mobility Scooter had been thrown out of a car (another story) and was not working! The staff ar Ibis knew how important it was for me to have my Scooter working due to having different meetings at the Excel and did everything they could so I could have a successful day. Never can thank the Ibis staff enough. Their customer service certainlly went the extra mile and they were wonderful as for the room, overlooking the Thames. The view was amazing. Will certainly stay here again and will recommend tbis hotel to everyone I meet using Excel for the day. Thanks once again. Never mind 5 stars, more looking at a 10 (if it existed!)"

London City Airport Hotel

"My only issue was the location, yes it is very close to the airport, but as a solo female traveller I did not feel safe to walk at 4.30 am in the dark with my two suitcases. I ended up booking an Uber for a 5 minute walk. But if your flight is later or you are not on your own that should not be an issue. All in all I would recommend this hotel c"
