This hotel is close to rail station. There are restaurants nearby.
There seemed to be an issue with rubish collection as there were lots of bags of trash in front on many of the properties. However, the hotel, itself, and it's property were clean.
I really enjoyed the friendly staff. My room was a nice comfortable size. And, the property was quiet; I was able to get good sleep after touring the city.

This place is only good, certainly not excellent, because its location is very good( easy access to Cardiff, Bute Park and stadiums), it is very clean and the breakfasts are excellent.
However, the room and the ensuite were disappointingly small,especially for the price! Also, with the exception of the lovely breakfast girls, there was little warmth in the welcome at the main reception desk.Certainly, the least welcoming place we have stayed in for a while!

Easy self check-in, comfy bed, plenty of space for two, and a tasty breakfast. Staff were lovely and the shared bathroom was clean. A few carpet and furniture stains, and the room had a slightly cheesy smell, but overall a good stay.
