Large beautiful lake front house on Silver Lake MI

"We had a great stay at this property in Michigan! The house itself was beautiful, the views were amazing, and the location was excellent. It’s in a quiet area but still very close to everything we wanted to do.The access to the dunes was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed having the dock and shallow lakefront right at the property. The water was only a couple of feet deep near the shore, which was perfect for the kids to safely play and enjoy the lake. There’s also a general store very close by, and we loved being so close to Mac Wood’s Dune Rides, Whippy Dip, and other kid-friendly activities.Our only real criticism was the cleanliness, particularly around the exterior of the house. We completely understand that insects and bugs are part of lake life, but we felt the exterior could have used a little more attention. The interior was generally nice, but we would rate the overall cleanliness around a B.That said, this was a relatively minor issue compared with everything we enjoyed about the property. The house, views, location, lake access, and proximity to local attractions made for a really enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a great family getaway."

"The property was very nice being on the water. We enjoyed swimming in the lake, roasting marshmallows over the fire, and participating in the local attractions (Mac Wood’s Dune rides, Craig’s Cruisers, jet ski rental, walking on the dunes, etc). Having the smart TV was nice for a movie during the rain."

Charming 3-bedroom cottage in Mears with AC

"House was really cute, had everything we needed & worked out great for our group. Kids had a blast in the water playing next to boat dock. Great location, we walked to the Mac woods dune rides and to the pizza place down the street. Close to town. Devon was very responsive to all of our questions. Had some trouble with the TVs not staying connected but all in all we enjoyed the place. We would definitely stay here again."

"We’ve vacationed in Silver Lake for the last 19 years and this home was by far our favorite. The home is located on the calmer side of the lake. The view of the dunes was spot on! The home itself was everything we needed and expected from a lake cottage. The house was fully stocked. We never found ourselves saying “I wish this or that was available “. The neighbors were very kind and welcoming. The owners communication was excellent and helpful. We’re grateful they’ve opened their home to be shared with others. We are already planing to return and look forward to making more memories with our family."
