"Very clean and cozy. Right by the beach, about a 2 min walk. Beautiful view. Has a hot tub and pool. Breakfast is free but a bit underwhelming. Staff is always kind and friendly. Room is always clean and well kept. It’s my go to hotel when I stay in Cambria. Highly recommended."

"Very thin walls. I can hear my neighbors allll night enjoying their romantic evening. I could hear every sneeze, snore and suitcase being unzipped so I did not get much sleep. But it's a beautiful location and they maintain it very well."

"The best hotel we stayed in on a two week long trip through California. This is a family owned place and it shows. Everyone was thoughtful and attentive. Not just responsive to their guests but accomodating and friendly. Housekeeping was awesome. The grounds are beautiful. They have lovely winding pathways through the gardens to the creek and a fabulous outdoor fireplace for schmoozing at night. Front desk very information. Blue Bird is a little isolated retreat right in the middle of town and next easily accessible to major restaurants and bars yet if you want some alone time you can take a bottle of wine out to the creek or the fire and just chill. We won't stay anywhere else in Cambria"
