Chalet Saudade

Chalet Saudade

8/10 Good
"It was a bit hard to find the hotel when we first got there because there isn't an obvious sign out front but I recognized the front from the pictures I saw. This is an older building that was turned into a hotel so there are certain inconveniences you have to tolerate. For example, walls and floors are thin so you can certainly here people outside of your room, and there is no elevator. We liked the uniqueness of the hotel and loved how helpful the staff were when we arrived. What was a bit of a disappointment was there was no conditioner in the showers and not many places to hang your towels. There also wasn't really a place to put any of your own toiletries in the shower stalls so you had to put them on the ground. Also, not 100% sure, but I think I got some bites from the bedding during our stay as I developed small bumps on my legs. They went away eventually, but it was odd."

"Very clean Hotel helpful down and downside is there’s no parking. The hotel has two parking spots out the front of a busy street and those spots are all be taken so it’s a real hassle dropping off and picking up but the staff works around it don’t expect to have overnight parking."
