"hotel is in horrible shape and in the spa + hotel smell mold + everything broken. Hotel + Spa need full renovation and fast. we didnt have sheets in the bed 😁 i pick sheets from Reception and do the job which normally hotel staff should do. 0/5 hotel, dont go."

"We really loved this hotel. The "jailhouse" vibe was cool and we enjoyed the history presented along with it. The kakola neighborhood is beautiful and worth exploring. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. "

"The hotel was hosting many families with small children when we visited and managed to provide prompt, attentive service despite the number of guests. The location was perfect for accessing the river walk and excellent restaurants. "

"Hostel was absolutely fine but it needs to be made clearer that there is *no staff*. you cannot enter the hotel until 3pm, so no leaving of bags, etc. also the immediate area is basically a building site - you can't get to the water at all, unless you're taking a boat. But very easy to get into town with the bus"
