"Fin leilighet (nr. 3) med alt man har behov for. God plass og komfortable senger. Rent og ryddig. Koselig beliggenhet, stille og lugnt. Nærheten til strandområdet var perfekt. Fine turområder. Vi hadde veldig fine dager her, og stedet kan absolutt anbefales."

"lovely clean room, excellent strong shower, superb views over the snow covered hills. Staff were lovely and spa was an additional bonus. All in all an excellent relaxed quality place to stay."
"Reception staff and Hotel are nice. Had a beautiful sea view. Bonfires night, the nightclub continued until midnight which kept my child awake.
Had an awkward moment with Emilie Ornqvist at breakfast where she refused to allow the Chef to make an omelette - we had one for the last 5 days. We even offered to pay for this but she refused - poor customer service from this individual and was quite rude. A good Hotel let down by an individual. "
"Liked that we had a spacious suite with a terrace. However, property on the whole was quite dated. Room had a damp smell and we had to ask staff to empty the fridge, as it was full of someone else's food including half a packet of smelly meatballs. Breakfast options fairly limited and coffee cold - they did have a gluten free roll for me on request but no other gluten free options."
"The property was clean and as the pictures make it appear. I had asked ahead of time if there would be laundry detergent in the house since we were in the middle of a 16 day trip. I was told there would be and unfortunately when we got there, there was no detergent. There were many form emails sent reminding us of the rules of not using our allotted towels and bedding, along with notes left not to use the extra items. One afternoon the electronic lock was malfunctioning and we were locked out of the house. I called the host twice and texted once using the number provided and nobody ever answered. One email directing us to where to throw out the garbage was confusing because the shed attached to the house is not the shed where the garbage goes. When I inquired about the key left for the shed, I got a quick response via email because we weren't supposed to have access to that shed. All in all, the communication was not good. We didn't have any major issues, but communicating when we need something would have been nice instead of just to accomplish the hosts needs. I would have gone to 3.5 stars if it was an option. I think with buttoning up some communication issues and relaxing some of the "rules" a bit, this place would be 5 stars. Skarhman is beautiful and a nice place to relax and recharge."
"We’ve been biking for ten days. This was by far the best place. Spacious rooms, free breakfast, lovely people working there. I loved it. Fabulous value!"
"We thought it was a high price for the size of room, but it is Sweden, and a popular beach vacation island area, so it was probably reasonable. The hotel is quaint, mice views of the harbor/sea area, good breakfast buffet, and comfortable beds. It was odd that you have to check in at a completely different hotel, and they didn’t give hotel information to every room in our party of several different related families. It was often hard to find the person who worked the front desk - she clearly has very many duties around the hotel, which mildly impacted our stay as we were unable to go for a planned swim on the last day because we and the breakfast staff were unable to get in touch with her to get a robe to walk down to the sea that the hotel provided, and we were concerned about being too cold on the way back to the hotel after getting in the chilly sea, and also not comfortable walking through town in just our bathing suits. The other odd thing was that the servicing of the room came very late in the day, and was barely noticeable. They folded up a used towel that was hanging up, but still damp, and water stamped the toilet paper. As far as we could tell, that was all that was done. We didn’t really need more, so we didn’t say anything, we just thought it was odd."
