"The property is pretty much how described. There are 3 beds not necessarily 3 bedrooms but for us that wasn’t a big deal. We mainly got it for the view and location. The view is gorgeous. It is close to Mesa Verde and Durango which is where we wanted to be. Ron is a wonderful host. Very quick to respond and so polite.We would stay here again."

"Very clean home in quiet/safe neighborhood. My kids loved walking down to the playground in the neighborhood. While this house is outside of Durango proper, it is close enough and without all of the traffic. My children loved the game room downstairs and the bunk beds. Beds were very comfortable but furniture is on the lower side if you have anyone with limited mobility. While we did not cook during our stay, the kitchen is well stocked for those that need it. I would definitely stay here again if we visit Durango in the future."

"We had three family units that stayed at this property and we all had plenty of space. The views were fantastic. We all had a great time and would rent this house again!!"
Cuatros Pinos ~ Quiet Tall Pine Retreat

"My spouse and 2 teen daughters spent a great week at Cutros Pinos! We arrived late in the evening and Jake had provided excellent check-in info and had the cabin ready for us. It was very clean, well equipped, and the furnishing are lovely and comfy. The kitchen is very nice— great for meals and we even used the grill one night. The beds were very comfy— my daughters slept on the bunks— the futon-lower bed was “so great” and the upper bunk doesn’t have a lot of head room, but it didn’t bother my other daughter— she also said it was great! Good shower— plenty of hot water and water pressure. Soft fluffy towels, really nice sheets/ pillows/ blankets etc. Because we were there in July, the AC did a good job cooling the cabin during the day if you leave the doors to the rooms open… and then of course windows open at night for that mountain air! The little back patio area was nice and peaceful. A quick and easy drive outside of Durango-- easy to get groceries. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. We went rafting with Durango Outdoor Adventures (really low water but still super fun), rode the steam train to Silverton (amazing views!), rented a Jeep — also from DOA— and drove to Clear Lake and also Animas Forks (ghost /mining town), and toured Balcony House and Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde (don’t skip Balcony House!)…In addition to just enjoying Durango! And, Jake was helpful and responsive as our host! 10 out of 10 all the way!"
