Waterford Marina Hotel

"My wife and I enjoyed a riverside room. In addition to a relaxing view, it was incredibly quiet. When we stayed - end of May 2026 - there was a bit of a heat wave. The lack of air conditioning reared its ugly head. Ice, for cold drinks, could be had by taking glasses down to the bar but there were no ice machines on any of the floors. Aside from these two rather minor complaints, everything was clean and in good repair. The staff were all lovely."

"The staff was wonderful. The bar and its food was great. However when we tried to check in we could not find a spot to unload.The 3 spots were full. So we found a car park 3 blocks away and walked to the hotel. When we checked in we had to walk 3 blocks back to the car and get our luggage and wheel it to t he hotel. The Guardia should be giving tickets. It was a no parking zone and those csrs were there for hours. 2 white cars and a vehical that was red and white and had printing on it. "

"Pleased with all aspects of The FitzWilton Hotel. My main compliment is their staff. All very friendly and helpful, especially Lynn in the restaurant. Lynn was fabulous, she catered for my dietary needs without making me feel uncomfortable. Her bubbly, friendly and helpful personality was wonderful. We looked forward to going down to breakfast to see her."

"The property was well maintained and staff were friendly and informative and helpful. It is directly across from the marina and has convenient parking, even though it was paid parking. The restaurant/bar was great to eat at and enjoy a couple drinks at the end of a long day. The breakfast was substantial and filled us the next morning for our adventures."
