"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights toward the end of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is housed in an older building, but the bathrooms have been nicely updated. Overall, we found our room comfortable, although with the colder weather, it was somewhat difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. One important consideration is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, depending on your room's location. I also had breakfast at...
Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG
Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG"Hotel was a little worn in places but very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was delicious. Easy to get to city centre by bus. Because it was beside the zoo, there were lots of exuberant children so there were times it was noisy in the halls. Not so great for a senior looking for some quiet time."

Bruntsfield Hotel, WorldHotels Elite"Breakfast was excellent. There is a cold buffet and a fresh to order hot breakfast as well. The bar in the basement is very very nice. Had some very nice drinks there"
"The staff were so helpful & kind would def stay again"

They moved us to a second-floor room, which was not great either, after I requested to speak to the manager, not the other way around. The welcome card listed another name, and the toiletries were not enough for two. The linnen room on the second floor was always open, showing all the toilet paper,...
