"Beautiful room and en-suite in a lodge with four others, tucked away at the back of the garden. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated two armchairs, decent size fridge and small outside area with table and chairs. Evening meal in the pub was also excellent. Lovely beer garden and attentive hosts. We didn't have breakfast as making an early start but ordered a packed lunch which was very handy."

"I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!"

"We loved our mini-moon at The Spread Eagle. The staff were kind enough to upgrade our room, offer us some fizz on the house and gave us cutlery and plates so we could enjoy a bit more wedding cake. I'm sure you don't have to be freshly married to enjoy your time at the hotel, it is a lovely space, the staff were brilliant and the room was comfortable and clean.
