"My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was great. The woman at the front desk was very helpful! The breakfast in the morning was nice including fresh juice. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas or a short taxi ride for 5 soles. The only draw back was there was no heating or air conditioning in the room. The only ventilation we had was if we openned our doors to the balcony. The balcony was shared with 2 other rooms. While we were there no one else stayed...

"Great location, very good breakfast and the rooftop bar is perfect ! Rooms are great too, comfortable bed and the staff was so sweet packing us a lunch and arranging airport transportation at 5 am. One thing to note is there is no AC- depending on time of year may not be an issue. I assume some rooms have windows so that would have been helpful. You can leave the top of your door open but then the noise is a bit much if you are trying to sleep early. Still a great spot I’d recommend !"

"This review is tricky because I feel there are better rooms and we just got a bad one which is why I can’t give 5 stars Let’s start with the good. Loved the staff and location. You cannot get a hotel with a better location and the staff goes above and beyond. Do note that the view in the photo of the plaza del Armas doesn’t look like that right now. The trees are very over grown and the entire left side you cannot see. That isn’t the hotels fault but it was badly obstructed. Luckily you can go to other roof top restaurants for a better view Now for the reason I removed one star and almost more but I am sure I got a bad room because I find it hard to believe no one else has complained about the rooms… our room was so hot.. no AC and there’s just a fan and a sliding window that goes to a shaft that reaches outside. We would even leave our room door open to get some air flow but it didn’t help. The first night we were able to sleep with the sliding glass open… the second night… we had neighbors who apparently had full access to this shaft location cause they were standing right in front of our bed …. It was totally nuts. On top of that we could hear them talking the entire night because we had to have some air in our room and left the window open This hotel is not the place if you want rest. It’s loud from everyone leaving early on their hikes and even more loud if you get our room and have to basically hear your neighbors."
