"Thoroughly enjoyed a nice September weekend at Mar Monte. The staff were wonderful: friendly & helpful. I'm from out of State, and found the fresh produce in the restaurants to be outstanding, along with good service. The room was comfortable - firm mattress, with a soft pillow-top, soft pillow, good temperature. They do have a primitive cooling system, which is rather loud. Bathroom & shower were clean & good. The hotel is right across the street from a clean and well maintained beach - safe for walking any time of day. I'd happily stay here again next visit."

"We had a very nice time and loved the place and the location! The only slightly less positive issues that we came across were the parking-someone parked in our spot for hours and we couldn’t find an available spot, and the coffee maker was broken. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience!"
