"I enjoyed my stay at Motel 6 Costa Mesa. Víctor at the front desk was friendly as I checked in. I didn’t have any issues while I was there. The room I stayed in smelled like smoke somewhat, so that was a bummer, but it wasn’t horrible. The room was clean, especially the bed and shower which I was very grateful for. There is not much as far as amenities go, but you get what you pay for. Overall it was a good stay."

"Had a one night stay due to business on the Irvine area. This was a fair priced hotel right across the street from John Wayne Airport. Parking was $28 a day but you do have in and out privileges. Plenty of space to park around the complex so you can be closer to your room. It seems to be an older facility but well maintained. Room was nice and comfortable. Normal amenities available in room. All in all a great stay for a great price. "

"I've stayed there several times over the past six months. The property is being renovated. The rooms have been upgraded. So, everything is nice, new, and clean. As of March 2026, the hotel's main lobby and banquet rooms are now being renovated as well. Looks like it'll be nice when the work is finished. There is a nice lake in front of the hotel, which is basically part of an office park. The surrounding area is safe, good for walking, etc. The hotel is near John Wayne Airport, South...

"This hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the rates are low, the hot tub and pool are great, there is always coffee available in the lobby, in and out is in the same parking lot so it seems to be pretty safe and the shower water pressure is unbelievably good. The manager, Kelly is fantastic! This location is extremely convenient next to the 405 freeway in 10 minutes from the beach. Incredible amount of restaurants, markets, and stores in the area. There are no major luxuries at this hotel, but...

"I did decide to upgrade my room when i arrived, as I wanted one closer to the pool, although a slight increase for my stay we'll worth it! The room was like brand new fresh and clean, and super quick 10 minutes to the beach! Thank you for a wonderful beach trip!"
